Our skin goes through seasons, just like the weather. Unfortunately, the changing of temperatures and wind can cause your face to become sensitive and dry. I normally have combination skin, but anytime the weather starts changing or I go somewhere new my skin starts drying out. I have found some amazing skincare products over the years that help keep my skin moisturized and dewy. Keep on reading to see my dry skin, skincare routine!

I love all of these products, and I hope you do too! These products work for my skin, however, everyone’s skin is different. Please consult your dermatologist before adding new products to your regimen.
1. Cleanser
TULA Probiotic Skin Care The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser. I got this from my FabFitFun subscription box. I loved it so much that I repurchased it. There was so much talk about it online and honestly, I did not buy into the hype until I tried it. This stuff is amazing! It takes all my makeup off without me having to use very much. My esthetician recommended I use a cleanser that does not foam up to prevent dying up the skin, this one does not foam up so it helps with moisture retention.
2. Serum
Okay, a serum is the best thing for dry skin. When my skin is really dry as the seasons start changing I use the Dermelect Self-Esteem Beauty Sleep Serum. This is another find from my FabFitFun box. I use it at least once a week to keep moisture in my skin. If I notice my skin is getting too dry on a particular month or week I will use it 3 times/week. I typically put this on before I go to bed however, I have used it in the mornings as well. This stuff is amazing at adding moisture to your skin. The only downside to it is the scent. Witchhazel is a pretty strong smell, but if you can get past the scent within the first five minutes this is totally worth it.
3. Moisturizer
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream. Where do I start, this stuff is amazing and a little goes a long way. On days where my skin is doing perfectly fine, this is all I use. It feels great on your skin and leaves it feeling soft without making it oily. It leaves the perfect “canvas” for foundation.I’ve been using this for the last two years and its worth every penny. You can get it at Sephora, Ulta, and even Amazon. If you want something that will leave your skin feeling great, I really recommend you add this to your skincare routine.
4. Eye Cream
I have two eye cream recommendations, the more affordable option is AHC Eye Cream for Face. My more expensive option is Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydrating Eye Gel. Both of these eye creams/gel work great, I actually use both throughout the week and have found that combining them really helps my eyes. I tend to use the AHC eye cream before bed, and Peter Thomas Roth in the mornings. My under eyes are doing noticeably better because of this. I find that my under eye lines don’t show up as much when I’m applying concealer, and I look more refreshed.
5. Lip Balm
I use lip balm every day at home, work, while traveling, etc. My all-time favorite lip balm is the Rosebud Salve lip balm. I always get the tin, but you can also get a tube. This balm helps moisturize my lips like no other lip balm has. It not only leaves my lips soft, but it gives your lips a dewy look. You can get this lip balm at various stores including amazon.
6. Face Masks
I don’t have just one Face Mask recommendation, because I like to mix it up. I have used a variety of masks from Bliss, Arrive Gorgeous, 111Skin, each one has left my skin feeling refreshed and moisturized at the end. Typically I use a face mask once a week usually on Sunday as a pick me up to get me ready for the week. I find that this is a great little add on to my skincare routine and recommend it to anyone.
These are the products I use every week to help take care of my skin, what works for me might not work for you. It took me a while to find something that I liked and worked for my skin. If you can I recommend that you start off with a sample of the product you are trying to use or a gift pack that includes more from the line.
I’ve found a lot of great products for my skin through my FabFitFun box, if you are interested in trying it you can save $10 on your first box (making your box just $39.99) with coupon code FLOWERS
My skincare routine is not the most affordable, but I believe that investing in your skin is important. I am still in search of a great sunscreen for my face if you have a recommendation for me I would love to know!

You’re welcome! Hydrating our skin is so important, especially in the colder months! That is usually when my skin gets the driest.

I love (and use) all of the above categories. I notice a huge difference in hydration and glow when I slack. I’m a big fan of vitamin C serum.
